Tumbled Terra Cotta, born of the intrinsic beauty and honesty of clay masonry, describes the adaptive reuse of ordinary clay products - maybe with a decorative accent here and there. Sewer pipe becomes a column or a chimney enclosure. Mantels and window trim are made out of wall coping. Flue tiles become a wall. Tumbled Terra Cotta isn't perfect but it's real clay, will last 100 years, can accent a clay tile roof and can compete in price with cast stone products.
